Tales bookcafé

This exceptional cafe has a beautiful European decor. You can sit in comfortable armchairs, read a book, and sip excellent coffee. The service is very friendly, and the prices are reasonable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

AMAZING food and coffee, a must if you are in nusa lembongan, also has very fast wifi (starlink) and lovely staff. Also has lots of books and boardgames if you’re into that!

Sweet spot if you’re tired of stalls or muggy/steamy open air seating or miss variety. Went 2x, both times Breakfasts were great. This morning - got the BIG breakfast w bacon sausage and eggs, v g soooo good esp’ cos I miss bacon! Massive meal will be my only meal of the day. The seeded sourdough on the side delish; and seems fresh baked. 3 days ago I had the pancakes with side order of bacon. Fat stack of two Came drizzled with maple syrup and jam with butter on the side. Coffee was superb, smooth. The cafe is cosy and relaxed with indoor aircon and outdoor covered seating. I added a photo of the wilderness shortcut (still a long way all) had to take to get here, that’s how much I love this place! Definitely return when revisit Lembongan

Super friendly staff and lovely location. The coffee was great as well, not as acidic as in other places. The meatballs were just fantastic! The veggie burger was good as well, but maybe a little bit on the dryer side, at least regarding our preferences :). Cheesecake was great as well!

Very good place with a lovely atmosphere. Nice & knowledgeable staff. I was there on three different occasions, breakfast, coffee and lunch. The food was really good & the highlight for me as a Swede was the Swedish meatballs with mashed potatoes, sauce, pickled cucumber and cranberry jam. Definitely on my top 3 list. If you just want to quench your thirst and get a fresh feeling, I recommend Summer Hydration.

Sooo amazing! We had a coffee, matcha and tea and it was perfect service. You should definitely get the strawberry cake! It’s a Swedish recipe from the owner and it tastes super fresh and nice, literally obsessed! It’s only served on weekends tho. Also if you want to get a book from there you have to pay 150k or do a book exchange. It’s totally worth your money

Charming, nourishing & full of character – Tales Book Café is a Lembongan gem! We absolutely loved our visit to Tales Book Café – a cozy, creative little haven in the heart of Nusa Lembongan. It’s the perfect spot to slow down, enjoy delicious food, sip on something refreshing, and maybe even flip through a good book while you’re at it . We had a cappuccino and a super refreshing summer hydration drink – both were spot-on and perfect for the island heat . For food, we ordered sourdough bread with pesto hummus, fluffy pancakes, and Alisa had the Falafel Bowl – and every dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented . The combination of healthy ingredients and creative flavors made the whole meal feel light but satisfying. The vibe is peaceful and welcoming, with friendly staff and a beautifully decorated space that invites you to linger a little longer. Whether you’re here for breakfast, brunch, or just a calm moment with a drink, Tales Book Café delivers with heart and charm. Highly recommended for anyone looking for wholesome food, quality coffee, and a warm atmosphere on Lembongan. We’ll definitely be back!

Very good coffee and healthy food! The owners are very nice, especially the guy. Since it was raining and we didn’t want to soak our shoes, he gave us plastic covers and even let us borrow his slippers—even though we wouldn’t be able to return them because we were leaving the island that same day. They always make their customers feel welcomed and valued. The atmosphere is very nice and peaceful. Def the best cafe on the island for readers and digital nomads!
